Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Wordable 2.0 and later ("the app") handles personal data. The data controller is AppFusion Labs, the developer of Wordable (info@appfusion.us).
Summary. Wordable needs no sign-up. The app creates an anonymous player ID so your progress can be backed up and so the daily puzzle leaderboard and weekend league can work. We collect gameplay statistics and crash reports to balance and fix the game. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details. The app shows ads through AppLovin; ads are personalized only if you allow tracking. We never sell your data.
1. Your anonymous player account
The first time the app connects to our server it creates a random player ID and a secret token. The token is kept in your device's Keychain (and, if you use iCloud Keychain, synced to your other devices so your progress follows you). We also give you a display name such as "Gezgin 1234", which other players can see on leaderboards. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
2. Data we collect
- Progress backup: your level progress, coins, puzzle states and game settings, so you can restore them on a new device.
- Daily puzzle and weekend league: your solve time, hints used, league points and display name. Other players see your display name, time or points on the leaderboards.
- Gameplay statistics: events such as starting and finishing levels, time taken, hints used, words found, coins earned and spent, shop visits, ads watched and the test group you are in (we try different settings, such as how often ads appear, with different groups of players). These are linked to your player ID and used to tune difficulty and the economy and to find problems.
- Purchases: Apple processes all payments. We receive Apple's signed record of each purchase (product, date, price, currency, store country and transaction numbers) to deliver your items, keep VIP working, handle refunds and count revenue. We never receive your name, Apple Account or card details.
- Crash and performance reports: Apple's MetricKit gives the app anonymous diagnostic reports (crashes, hangs, launch time), which we send to our server together with the app version, iOS version and device model.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver and protect the service; it is not stored with your player data.
Local reminders are scheduled on your device and send us nothing. Game Center scores and achievements are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
3. Advertising
Wordable shows rewarded videos (only when you choose to watch one) and, after the first levels, occasional ads between levels. Ads are served by AppLovin (AppLovin MAX) and its partner networks, which receive device and usage information such as your IP address, device model, language and ad interactions. If you allow tracking in Apple's prompt, they also receive your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and may show ads based on your interests; you can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads are not personalized. AppLovin acts as an independent controller for the data it collects: applovin.com/privacy. Buying "Remove Ads" or VIP turns off ads between levels.
4. Why we process your data (legal bases)
- To provide the game and the features you use (account, backup, leaderboards, league, purchases): performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and KVKK Art. 5(2)(c).
- Gameplay statistics and crash reports, fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in running and improving the game, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and KVKK Art. 5(2)(f).
- Personalized advertising: your consent through Apple's tracking prompt, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and KVKK Art. 5(1). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Purchase records: our legal obligations for accounting, GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) and KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç).
5. Service providers and international transfers
Our server runs on Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers, D1, Durable Objects, Analytics Engine), acting as our processor. Purchases, Game Center and diagnostics go through Apple Inc. Ads are served by AppLovin Corp. These companies operate servers in many countries, so your data may be processed outside Türkiye and your own country.
6. How long we keep it
- Player account, progress backup, leaderboard and league entries: until you delete them (see section 8).
- Detailed gameplay statistics: about 3 months; after that only totals that cannot identify you.
- Crash and performance reports: 30 days.
- Purchase records: as long as needed for refunds and as required by tax and accounting law; they are unlinked from your player ID if you delete your data.
7. Children
Wordable is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has used the online features, contact us and we will delete the data.
8. Your rights and deleting your data
You can delete your online data at any time in the app under Settings › Delete my online data. This removes your backup, leaderboard and league entries and your player account from our server; your game on the device and your purchases are not affected. Under GDPR and KVKK you can also ask to access, correct or erase your data, object to its processing, learn which third parties receive it, and complain to a data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Board). Email info@appfusion.us; we reply free of charge within 30 days.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and significant changes will be announced in the app.
10. Earlier versions
Wordable 1.x collected only the Conquest Arena data described in the earlier policy.
